SugarFans is an Amateur partner platform that allows users to publish content, such as photos and videos, for other users to view via a paid subscription. Creators can earn money by monetising their content through the sale of photos and videos.
However, the SugarFans and Amateur developers have decided to create a much better platform called ‘OnlySafe’ that offers improved features and functionality.
What is OnlySafe?
Similar to SugarFans, OnlySafe is a platform that provides better security for your content, ensuring it cannot be copied and shared on other websites. Only paying subscribers will be able to view your content, and they will not be able to take screenshots on their phones or computers. This prevents piracy and stops other users from viewing your content for free.
What about SugarFans?
The platform is being shut down, and current users are encouraged to migrate their accounts to the new OnlySafe platform.
What is the deadline for migration?
You have until 30 August 2025 to migrate from SugarFans to OnlySafe.
How do I migrate from SugarFans to OnlySafe?
- Click on the announcement to migrate your SugarFans account to OnlySafe. Click on the ‘Find out everything’ button.
- A page containing all the information you need to migrate, along with a button to start the process, will open. Click on the ‘Migrate from SugarFans to OnlySafe’ button.
- To successfully complete the migration, you will be asked to log in to your SugarFans and OnlySafe accounts. If you don’t have an account, you will need to create one.
- After completing the process and successfully logging in to both accounts, click the final button that says “Start migration.”
- Finally, a page will appear informing you that the migration is complete. If you would like to notify your users to migrate their accounts to OnlySafe so they can continue viewing your content, click on “Create a free trial for OnlySafe” to get a 7-day free trial. Rest assured, your content cannot be copied. If you don’t want to migrate, just ignore the recommendation.
